Frequently asked questions about hitmen.dot

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for loan repayments?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Is hitmen.dot a fit for a wedding registry fund?

Couples can collect cash gifts on hitmen.dot, sharing one tasteful, payment-native address with guests. It's easier to print on an invitation than a long registry URL. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

What happens to my hitmen.dot pre-order if a trademark holder claims it?

If a validated TMCH holder claims hitmen.dot during the priority phase with a valid SMD, their claim takes precedence and your standard pre-order cannot be fulfilled. In that case your pre-order charge for hitmen.dot is refundable per the published policy. You are not charged for a name you cannot receive. Read the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for point-of-sale payments?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
