Frequently asked questions about hess.dot

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order for mobile money?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

What is the difference between pre-order and registration for hess.dot?

A pre-order stages your intent to register hess.dot and is submitted when its phase opens; the registration is the completed assignment of hess.dot to you once the registry approves. domain.pay turns your hess.dot pre-order into a registration at the right time. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments for fraud prevention?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know my pre-order for hess.dot was received?

Once you submit a pre-order for hess.dot, your domain.pay account confirms it was received and shows hess.dot in your queued orders. You will see status changes as the registry processes hess.dot. Confirm and view your hess.dot pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium when choosing travel.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
