Frequently asked questions about hcg.dot

For digital wallets, what is TMCH and why does it matter for .PAY?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

Why is general availability open to everyone for hcg.dot?

General availability is open to everyone because, after sunrise protects trademark holders, the registry opens names like hcg.dot to the public on a first-come basis. This is your phase if you have no matching mark. Pre-order hcg.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY Sunrise first-come, first-served for trademark holders when choosing donate.pay?

.PAY Sunrise is a Start-Date Sunrise, so eligible trademark registrations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis when policy requirements are met. Start the request at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Waiting can increase the risk that another eligible party gets the matching label first.

Can I pre-order hcg.dot before .PAY launches?

Yes — domain.pay offers a first-day pre-order so you can queue hcg.dot ahead of general availability. The standard pre-order is $100 and, per policy, failed attempts are refundable. Place your pre-order for hcg.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

For loan repayments, would settle.pay work as a payment brand?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
