Frequently asked questions about hado.dot

For mobile money, is .PAY already open to everyone?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Should I pre-order hado.dot now or wait for general availability?

Pre-ordering hado.dot now queues your attempt for the first day of general availability, which matters if others want the hado.dot name. Waiting risks someone else registering it first. A failed pre-order is refundable per policy, so review terms on /pricing.

How do I choose between trademark fast-track and pre-order for mobile money?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Will I be refunded if my pre-order for hado.dot fails?

Yes. If a pre-order attempt for hado.dot does not result in a successful registration, the fee is refundable per the stated policy. This applies when hado.dot cannot be allocated to you for reasons outside your control. Review terms and start at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for point-of-sale payments?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
