Frequently asked questions about gums.dot

As an insurance billing portal, can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

What determines who wins gums.dot at general availability?

At general availability, gums.dot generally goes to the qualifying request that reaches the registry first. Pre-ordering with domain.pay stages gums.dot to be submitted at the exact opening, improving your position. Stage your request at https://domain.pay/register.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed for a bank or credit union?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

Does gums.dot cost more during the priority phase?

Trademark-priority registration for gums.dot may carry different fees than the standard $100 pre-order because priority phases have their own pricing set around the registry's rules. The exact figure for gums.dot appears in the checkout flow. See current pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I use .PAY for redirects to my existing checkout for mobile money?

Yes, you can use a .PAY domain as a clean branded entry point or redirect to an existing checkout, but implement redirects, SSL and tracking carefully. First secure or pre-order the label through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
