Frequently asked questions about groundfloor.dot

What does the .PAY ending signal to customers using fraud prevention for an ecommerce brand?

.PAY signals that the destination is connected to payment action, such as fraud prevention. That can support clarity and trust when paired with strong security and branding. Check or pre-order the name at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Who is eligible to register groundfloor.dot?

Eligibility for groundfloor.dot follows the .PAY registry policies set by Amazon Registry Services, which generally expect registrants to use the name for payment or financial-related purposes. domain.pay can register groundfloor.dot on your behalf and help confirm whether your intended use fits the registry's framing. See https://domain.pay/register to start.

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for a checkout product manager?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

What TXT records might I need on groundfloor.dot besides SPF?

Beyond SPF, groundfloor.dot often needs DKIM and DMARC TXT records for email, plus verification TXT records for services like Search Console or a cloud platform. Each service tells you the exact string to add to groundfloor.dot. Keep these TXT entries on groundfloor.dot tidy and labeled.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for fraud prevention?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
