Frequently asked questions about godfathers.dot

How exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration for online checkout?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Will I pay twice if I re-attempt godfathers.dot after a failure?

If a godfathers.dot attempt fails it is refundable under our stated policy, so re-attempting means a fresh authorization rather than a double charge for the same failed try. Each godfathers.dot pre-order is billed and refunded on its own. Re-attempt and review terms at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a brand-protection manager, what does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Are .PAY names like godfathers.dot new compared to older extensions?

Yes, .PAY is a newer top-level domain, so names like godfathers.dot are part of a fresher namespace than .com or .net. That novelty means more clean, on-brand names such as godfathers.dot can still be available. Browse current options at /domains.

For payroll disbursements, what .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
