Frequently asked questions about genotype.dot

Can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day for mobile money?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Can I get a refund if my pre-order for genotype.dot fails?

Yes. If your pre-order attempt for genotype.dot does not succeed — for example, the name is awarded elsewhere — the attempt is refundable. You are only charged for a successful registration of genotype.dot. Review refund terms before you pre-order at /pricing.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for an ecommerce brand?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

How can I make genotype.dot the single source of truth for payments?

Once NicNames owns genotype.dot, publish it consistently as the only official payment address and direct customers there from verified channels. A single trusted genotype.dot name makes impersonators easier to spot. Begin by securing genotype.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for a remittance app?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
