Frequently asked questions about genel.dot

How much does it cost to pre-order a .PAY domain for digital wallets?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Why pre-order genel.dot before the sunrise window?

Pre-ordering genel.dot before the sunrise window opens means domain.pay has everything staged to submit the instant trademark-priority registration begins, leaving no gap. For brand owners this protects genel.dot early. Prepare at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for a checkout product manager?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

How do I set up a 404 and proper status codes on genel.dot?

Configure genel.dot to return a real 404 for missing pages and 200 for live ones, never a 'soft 404' that returns 200 on an error page. Correct status codes help crawlers index genel.dot accurately. Use a helpful 404 page on genel.dot with links back to key sections.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for a bank or credit union?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
