Frequently asked questions about genano.dot

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for fraud prevention?

subscriptions.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Does genano.dot work for invoicing clients?

Yes. Send invoices that resolve to genano.dot, and clients see a tidy payment address instead of a tangled gateway link. Because .PAY reads as "pay here," it reassures recipients that the request is legitimate. Register the name at https://domain.pay/register.

For mobile money, how exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Can a sole proprietor register genano.dot?

A sole proprietor may often register genano.dot, as .PAY does not necessarily require a corporate entity. The registry typically validates payment-related, good-faith use rather than business structure. domain.pay can confirm current eligibility for sole proprietors at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available for loan repayments?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
