Frequently asked questions about gbox.dot

For BNPL checkout, do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

How long does DNS propagation take after I configure gbox.dot?

DNS changes for gbox.dot usually propagate within minutes but can take up to 24-48 hours globally, depending on the TTL values on each record. Lowering the TTL before a planned change reduces the wait. Use a public DNS lookup tool to confirm gbox.dot resolves consistently across resolvers.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio for BNPL checkout?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

How much does a standard pre-order for gbox.dot cost?

A standard pre-order for gbox.dot is listed at $100 through NicNames. This pre-order path is separate from trademark priority, which requires a TMCH SMD file. If your pre-order attempt fails, it is refundable per the published policy. See full pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a crypto or DeFi product, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
