Frequently asked questions about gays.dot

For payroll disbursements, can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

How much does a standard pre-order for gays.dot cost?

A standard pre-order for gays.dot is listed at $100 through NicNames. This pre-order path is separate from trademark priority, which requires a TMCH SMD file. If your pre-order attempt fails, it is refundable per the published policy. See full pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Who operates the .PAY extension, and where can a checkout product manager get one for a checkout product manager?

Amazon Registry Services operates the .PAY top-level domain. A checkout product manager can search, pre-order or start a trademark-priority route through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay is the customer-facing place to act, while registry rules still control availability and eligibility.

Where do I get the SMD file needed to secure gays.dot?

You obtain the SMD file from the Trademark Clearinghouse after your trademark is recorded and validated there. Once issued, you download the .smd file and bring it to NicNames to claim gays.dot under priority. NicNames does not issue SMD files itself. Start your priority registration of gays.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for fraud prevention?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
