Frequently asked questions about gallo.dot

Could a .PAY domain be suspended for not being used for payments for online checkout?

Yes. The LRP policy says .PAY LRP names must be used in connection with payment-related services, and failure to demonstrate such use may lead to suspension or cancellation. Check the current path at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Can I get help validating my mark before I register gallo.dot?

Mark validation happens at the Trademark Clearinghouse, which reviews your evidence before issuing the SMD you need for gallo.dot. NicNames handles the registration step once your SMD is in hand. Complete TMCH validation first, then bring the SMD to claim gallo.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for loan repayments?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I pre-order gallo.dot if my trademark application is still pending?

Trademark-priority for gallo.dot requires a TMCH SMD file, which the Trademark Clearinghouse issues only for validated marks, so a pending application alone may not qualify for gallo.dot. You can still place a standard pre-order for gallo.dot meanwhile. Choose a path at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY name should a payroll platform consider for a payroll platform?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
