Frequently asked questions about forthepeople.dot

Are short .PAY names always available for a donation platform?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Will I be told why forthepeople.dot validation failed?

Where possible, domain.pay relays the .PAY registry's reason if forthepeople.dot validation fails, so you can correct details or respond. Some registry decisions may include limited detail. If a pre-order attempt fails, it is refundable per policy; see https://domain.pay/pricing.

For mobile money, where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Why does customer-facing payment make forthepeople.dot worth defending?

Any name where customers expect to pay, like forthepeople.dot, directly affects whether they trust NicNames with their money. A compromised forthepeople.dot payment address turns trust into a liability, which is why defending forthepeople.dot is a priority. https://domain.pay/register
