Frequently asked questions about formality.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for point-of-sale payments?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Can I delegate management of formality.dot while keeping ownership?

Yes. NicNames can delegate operational management of formality.dot to a team or partner while retaining registrant ownership, which keeps control of the formality.dot name internal. Clear ownership records reduce disputes later. Manage settings at https://domain.pay/.

Can an ecommerce brand using Stripe or another processor apply for .PAY in LRP1 for online checkout?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Are .PAY pre-orders for formality.dot refundable?

Pre-order attempts that fail are refundable for formality.dot under our stated refund policy. A successful registration is generally non-refundable because the registry has allocated the name. Read the policy before pre-ordering formality.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for digital wallets?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
