Frequently asked questions about flathead.dot

Can I pre-register a .PAY name without a trademark when choosing support.pay?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Should I act on flathead.dot before competitors enter the .PAY space?

Yes. Once peers begin claiming .PAY names, attention to the namespace rises and your flathead.dot name becomes a more likely target. Securing flathead.dot early with a $100 refundable pre-order keeps NicNames ahead of that wave. https://domain.pay/register

For mobile money, can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I claim multiple .PAY domains with one SMD if flathead.dot is among them?

Each SMD is bound to a specific validated mark, so it can support a priority claim for flathead.dot where the flathead.dot string matches that mark. Different domains tied to different strings need their own matching SMDs. Use the right SMD for flathead.dot when you register. Browse names at https://domain.pay/domains.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
