Frequently asked questions about fanboys.dot

When is broader .PAY public registration expected for BNPL checkout?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Should I consider the catalog's top picks instead of fanboys.dot?

Considering the catalog's curated top picks instead of fanboys.dot is worthwhile, since they are vetted payment-domain ideas that may outshine your first fanboys.dot thought. domain.pay highlights these for quick evaluation. See top picks at https://domain.pay/domains.

Can I browse alternative .PAY names if my first choice is taken when choosing trust.pay?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Which comes first for fanboys.dot: validating my mark or paying NicNames?

Validating your mark in the TMCH and obtaining the SMD comes first, because without it NicNames cannot grant trademark priority on fanboys.dot. Only after you have a valid SMD do you complete the priority registration of fanboys.dot. The standard pre-order alternative is listed at $100. Start the right path at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Are short .PAY names always available?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
