Frequently asked questions about exyte.dot

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I migrate an existing site onto exyte.dot without downtime?

Stand up the new site on exyte.dot at a low TTL, validate it on a staging hostname, then flip DNS and 301 every old URL to its match on exyte.dot. Submit a change of address in Search Console and keep the old certificate valid through the cutover. Monitor exyte.dot for crawl errors afterward.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for crypto payments?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Will exyte.dot be available immediately when .PAY launches?

When the relevant phase opens, exyte.dot becomes registrable, but availability for any one buyer depends on competing requests. A pre-order ensures domain.pay submits exyte.dot at that immediate opening rather than after the rush. Stage it at https://domain.pay/register.

How is a .PAY name different from a regular .com for online checkout?

A .PAY name immediately signals a payment-related destination, while .com is more general. For online checkout, that can make the URL easier to understand. Check availability and pre-order options at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. The usual registry and premium-name rules still apply.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
