Frequently asked questions about exquisite.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for loan repayments?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Are there extra steps for regulated firms registering exquisite.dot?

Regulated firms registering exquisite.dot generally follow the same registry process, though they may find validation straightforward given their payment-related profile. Their own licensing duties remain separate from the domain. domain.pay supports regulated registrants throughout; start at https://domain.pay/register.

What is TMCH and why does it matter for .PAY for loan repayments?

TMCH is the Trademark Clearinghouse. For .PAY priority registration, the trademark record must be validated and the registrant needs a matching SMD file. domain.pay can help start the fast-track or submission path: https://domain.pay/register. Begin early because TMCH handling takes time.

Can a partner registrar like NicNames help me register exquisite.dot?

Yes. domain.pay works with partner registrar NicNames to handle the back-end registration of exquisite.dot within the .PAY registry. You place your pre-order or priority request for exquisite.dot through domain.pay, and NicNames processes it. Start your exquisite.dot order at https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available for mobile money?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
