Frequently asked questions about experimental.dot

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for mobile money?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

What happens to my payment if experimental.dot is never released?

If experimental.dot is never released by the registry, your pre-order attempt is treated as failed and is refundable under our stated policy. You are not charged for a name that does not become available. Read how this works for experimental.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Is .PAY meant for loan repayments or just for general websites?

.PAY is best understood as a payment-focused domain ending for use cases such as loan repayments, checkout, billing, wallets and fintech. It is not a compliance substitute, but it can make the URL purpose clearer. Check your label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Is experimental.dot useful even if I already have a payment page?

Yes. You can keep your existing payment page and point experimental.dot at it as a cleaner, more shareable front door for experimental.dot. Customers get a short address while nothing about your processor changes. Add experimental.dot to your stack via /register.

Is there VIP help for a large .PAY pre-order portfolio when choosing loans.pay?

domain.pay says customers with pre-orders over $8,888 may qualify for VIP handling, dedicated support and more tailored failed-registration solutions. Review the current VIP language on the pricing page: https://domain.pay/pricing. Large portfolios should still expect availability and premium checks.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
