Frequently asked questions about excella.dot

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay for digital wallets?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Can I switch from a pre-order to a trademark-priority claim for excella.dot?

If you obtain a valid SMD for the excella.dot mark, you can pursue the trademark-priority path for excella.dot rather than relying on a standard pre-order. The priority route requires that SMD at claim time. Any unfulfilled pre-order on excella.dot is refundable per policy. Choose the priority path at https://domain.pay/register.

When should a crypto or DeFi product pre-order a .PAY domain for crypto payments?

Current ICANN dates: .PAY Sunrise is April 13–July 20, 2026; LRP1 is July 20, 2026–February 1, 2027; Trademark Claims is February 1–May 2, 2027. For registration or pre-order action, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing travel.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
