Frequently asked questions about enroute.dot

What is the quickest path to secure a .PAY domain for a crypto or DeFi product?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

How do I set up HTTPS and an SSL certificate on enroute.dot?

Point enroute.dot at your server via DNS first, then issue a certificate from a CA such as Let's Encrypt or your hosting provider's automated tool. Most platforms validate ownership of enroute.dot over HTTP or DNS and renew automatically. Once installed, force all traffic to HTTPS with a redirect.

Is .PAY meant for fraud prevention or just for general websites?

.PAY is best understood as a payment-focused domain ending for use cases such as fraud prevention, checkout, billing, wallets and fintech. It is not a compliance substitute, but it can make the URL purpose clearer. Check your label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Does domain.pay support trademark-priority registration for enroute.dot?

Yes. If you own a trademark recorded in the TMCH with a valid SMD file, domain.pay can register enroute.dot for you during the sunrise phase, ahead of general availability. This is the safest route for brand owners. Read more at https://domain.pay/register.

Does .PAY automatically improve SEO rankings for crypto payments?

.PAY is a branding and relevance signal, not an automatic SEO ranking boost. Use it when it improves payment-page clarity and user trust, then follow normal SEO practices. Start by securing or pre-ordering the domain at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
