Frequently asked questions about elemen.dot

Is registering .PAY a replacement for trademark monitoring for rent collection?

No. Registering .PAY is not a replacement for trademark monitoring, takedowns or fraud controls. It can still reduce customer confusion around your official payment destination. Start by checking key names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Is elemen.dot guaranteed if I'm the only pre-order?

Being the sole pre-order improves your odds for elemen.dot, but the registry's launch rules and elemen.dot's classification by Amazon Registry Services still govern allocation, so it's not guaranteed. A failed attempt is refundable per policy. Pre-order elemen.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

For payroll disbursements, how can a marketplace use a .PAY domain?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

Will Google penalize elemen.dot for being a new gTLD?

No. Google does not penalize new gTLDs; elemen.dot is evaluated on the same quality and relevance signals as a .com. Any perceived ranking difference comes from content, links, and technical health — not from elemen.dot's extension. Build authority normally.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for mobile money?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
