Frequently asked questions about eks.dot

As a regional bank, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Is eks.dot a good fit for a checkout page?

A checkout page on eks.dot reads as exactly that, so customers know they are in the right place to pay. The short .PAY suffix keeps the URL clean on buttons and confirmation screens. Check whether eks.dot is available at /register.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Can I get eks.dot if it clears sunrise without a buyer?

If eks.dot is not claimed during sunrise, it proceeds to general availability where you can register it. Pre-ordering eks.dot now means domain.pay submits it the moment that phase opens, ahead of others. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for mobile money?

For mobile money, .PAY can be a strong payment-specific brand signal. It does not replace compliance, security or a trusted checkout flow, but it can make the URL purpose obvious. Start with an availability check on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
