Frequently asked questions about edits.dot

When is broader .PAY public registration expected when choosing settle.pay?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register. Re-confirm dates before publishing if the registry updates its schedule.

What does first-day pre-order priority mean for edits.dot?

First-day pre-order priority means domain.pay attempts to register edits.dot the moment general availability begins, ahead of people who register manually later. It improves timing but is still subject to demand. The standard pre-order is $100; see /pricing.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for link.pay for an insurance billing portal?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Can edits.dot be transferred to another owner later?

edits.dot can generally be transferred to another owner subject to the .PAY registry's policies and standard transfer rules, and the new owner may face the same payment-related validation expectations. domain.pay can guide a future transfer. To first register edits.dot, start at https://domain.pay/register.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for BNPL checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
