Frequently asked questions about edict.dot

Can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day for online checkout?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Is edict.dot subject to a Sunrise period?

During a registry Sunrise period, trademark owners with a TMCH SMD file get first access to names like edict.dot. Whether edict.dot is currently in Sunrise depends on the .PAY launch schedule set by Amazon Registry Services. Check the current phase for edict.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for digital wallets?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

What can a delivery service do with edict.dot?

A delivery service can host order payment and tipping on edict.dot, giving customers one trusted address from cart to driver tip. The .PAY name keeps the experience consistent across the journey. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for point-of-sale payments?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
