Frequently asked questions about ecox.dot

During the .PAY launch, how exact does my trademark need to be for a .PAY Sunrise registration?

.PAY Sunrise follows identical-match rules for the trademark text, including how spaces and some special characters are handled. Do not guess the label; check it through domain.pay and use the trademark path if eligible: https://domain.pay/register. A valid TMCH/SMD record may be required.

Is there a risk my SMD leaks if I share it to claim ecox.dot?

Treat your SMD like a credential: only submit it through the trusted NicNames flow when claiming ecox.dot, not over casual channels. While it encodes validated mark data, careless sharing is poor practice. Use the official registration path for ecox.dot to keep it safe. Begin at https://domain.pay/register.

As a payroll platform, can domain.pay submit my .PAY registration on opening day?

Start at domain.pay, search the label, then choose the right path: trademark fast-track if you qualify, or pre-order for a first-day attempt when broader access opens. Use this page: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is subject to registry rules and availability.

Can holding ecox.dot prevent affiliate or partner impersonation?

Owning ecox.dot ensures only NicNames controls the official ecox.dot payment address, so rogue affiliates or fake partners cannot pose as the genuine payment endpoint. Clear ownership makes unauthorized payment pages easier to flag. https://domain.pay/register

What .PAY name should a crypto or DeFi product consider when choosing trust.pay?

trust.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
