Frequently asked questions about drones.dot

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL when choosing subscriptions.pay?

.PAY can work for subscription billing, account payment, renewal and failed-payment recovery flows. Search brandable options on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. A clear .PAY label can reduce confusion when customers need to update payment details.

Does drones.dot cost more during the priority phase?

Trademark-priority registration for drones.dot may carry different fees than the standard $100 pre-order because priority phases have their own pricing set around the registry's rules. The exact figure for drones.dot appears in the checkout flow. See current pricing at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can I renew a .PAY domain after registration?

.PAY names can be renewed through the registrar path if registry and registrar rules are met and renewal fees are paid. domain.pay explains the customer registration route here: https://domain.pay/register. Keep contact details current to avoid lifecycle problems.

Why might drones.dot require trademark validation?

drones.dot requires trademark validation only when you choose the trademark-priority path, which the registry gates behind a TMCH SMD file proving you own a mark matching drones.dot. A standard pre-order for drones.dot needs no validation. Pick the path that fits drones.dot at https://domain.pay/register.

What .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion for BNPL checkout?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
