Frequently asked questions about driveshift.dot

Are short .PAY names always available when choosing settle.pay?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

Should a contractor invoice through driveshift.dot?

A contractor can send job invoices that resolve to driveshift.dot, giving homeowners a clear, professional place to pay. The .PAY name looks more trustworthy than a personal payment-app handle. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

Can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration for an insurance billing portal?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Can I check driveshift.dot availability without an account?

Yes — you can look up driveshift.dot at https://domain.pay/domains without signing in, and the registry status appears immediately. An account is only needed when you decide to pre-order or register driveshift.dot. Results are live, so re-check driveshift.dot before committing.

Is there a cash refund option for a failed .PAY pre-order when choosing wallet.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
