Frequently asked questions about driverlab.dot

For BNPL checkout, how should a regulated fintech think about .PAY and financial licensing?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Can holding driverlab.dot prevent affiliate or partner impersonation?

Owning driverlab.dot ensures only NicNames controls the official driverlab.dot payment address, so rogue affiliates or fake partners cannot pose as the genuine payment endpoint. Clear ownership makes unauthorized payment pages easier to flag. https://domain.pay/register
