Frequently asked questions about dowse.dot

Why is .PAY important for phishing prevention for rent collection?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

Is dowse.dot a premium domain with a higher fee?

Possibly. The registry may classify dowse.dot as premium, in which case dowse.dot carries a higher fee than the $100 standard rate. The only stated fixed fact is the $100 standard price; premium tiers vary per label. Confirm whether dowse.dot is premium at https://domain.pay/pricing.

As a remittance app, is .PAY already open to everyone?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

Are app stores bypass payments a use for dowse.dot?

For web purchases that sidestep app-store fees, dowse.dot gives users a clean, trusted address to pay directly. The .PAY name reassures customers buying outside the app. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for online checkout?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
