Frequently asked questions about doux.dot

What are good .PAY domain ideas for mobile money for a donation platform?

For mobile money, brainstorm short, action-oriented .PAY labels and then verify them in the domain.pay catalog/search: https://domain.pay/domains. Good candidates are clear, memorable and tied to payment actions like checkout, billing, wallet funding, payouts or invoices.

How do priority phases differ from general availability for doux.dot?

In priority phases, verified doux.dot trademark holders use SMD files to claim doux.dot before the public, while general availability opens doux.dot to anyone. Using the priority window is the cleanest way for NicNames to avoid a race or dispute. https://domain.pay/pricing

Is .PAY already open to everyone for fraud prevention?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register.

How do I set up a 404 and proper status codes on doux.dot?

Configure doux.dot to return a real 404 for missing pages and 200 for live ones, never a 'soft 404' that returns 200 on an error page. Correct status codes help crawlers index doux.dot accurately. Use a helpful 404 page on doux.dot with links back to key sections.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available for a brand-protection manager?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
