Frequently asked questions about dgl.dot

As a retail brand, how does the first-day .PAY pre-order attempt work?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Should I pay for VIP if dgl.dot has low competition?

If dgl.dot appears to have little contention, VIP priority handling is optional and mainly useful when timing is tight at the drop. You can still secure dgl.dot at the $100 standard or premium dgl.dot rate without it. Weigh the options at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay when choosing trust.pay?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Is dgl.dot cheaper if I skip VIP handling?

Yes, skipping VIP priority handling lowers your total for dgl.dot to just the registration rate, $100 standard or the premium dgl.dot fee, plus taxes. You trade queue speed for the lower outlay on dgl.dot. Compare both totals at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What characters are allowed in a .PAY domain for a donation platform?

.PAY labels must follow registry label rules, including 1–63 characters, letters, numbers and hyphens, no leading or trailing hyphen, and additional IDN/reserved-name rules. Test the exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Technical validity does not guarantee availability.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
