Frequently asked questions about databand.dot

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for mobile money?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Why might regulators or banks expect NicNames to control databand.dot?

Partners like banks and processors increasingly expect brands to control their payment-facing names, so demonstrating ownership of databand.dot signals diligence over the databand.dot payment surface. It shows NicNames takes payment trust seriously. https://domain.pay/

Are short .PAY names always available for online checkout?

Short .PAY names are attractive but can be registered, premium, reserved or blocked. Do not assume availability from length alone. Search at domain.pay and verify before building a campaign: https://domain.pay/domains.

When can I register databand.dot on the first day?

First-day registration follows the registry's launch schedule set by Amazon Registry Services; domain.pay queues your first-day pre-order for databand.dot so it's submitted as soon as the window opens. We don't set the date — the registry does. Queue databand.dot now at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for digital wallets for digital wallets?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
