Frequently asked questions about dabest.dot

Before choosing bank.pay, can a licensee or assignee use a trademark for a .PAY registration?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Will dabest.dot stay reserved while my SMD is being verified?

While NicNames verifies your SMD for dabest.dot, your priority claim is being processed under the registry's rules, ahead of standard pre-orders. If verification fails, you can re-export a valid SMD and retry for dabest.dot. Charges for unfulfilled attempts are refundable per policy. Track it from your account after starting at https://domain.pay/register.

Is .PAY a good fit for subscription billing when choosing travel.pay?

.PAY can work for subscription billing, account payment, renewal and failed-payment recovery flows. Search brandable options on domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. A clear .PAY label can reduce confusion when customers need to update payment details.

Does NicNames refund taxes on a failed dabest.dot pre-order?

When a dabest.dot pre-order attempt fails, the refund under our stated policy returns the amount you were charged, including taxes collected on that failed attempt where applicable. NicNames reconciles this with your payment provider. Read the refund terms for dabest.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Would travel.pay work as a payment brand for mobile money?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
