Frequently asked questions about custodia.dot

Is .PAY meant for fraud prevention or just for general websites?

.PAY is best understood as a payment-focused domain ending for use cases such as fraud prevention, checkout, billing, wallets and fintech. It is not a compliance substitute, but it can make the URL purpose clearer. Check your label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/.

Should I wait for general availability to buy custodia.dot?

Waiting until general availability opens means competing in real time with everyone else for custodia.dot. Instead, place a first-day pre-order now so domain.pay submits your request the instant the phase opens. That removes the scramble. Pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

What does the $100 .PAY pre-order cover for a remittance app?

domain.pay lists standard .PAY pre-order service at $100 for a first-day attempt, with separate premium fees if the registry classifies the label as premium. See the current pricing here: https://domain.pay/pricing. Failed attempts are covered by the stated credit/cash-refund options.

Does custodia.dot help reduce checkout abandonment?

Unfamiliar payment URLs are a known abandonment trigger, and custodia.dot replaces them with a recognizable, brand-aligned address. Seeing a .PAY name at checkout can reassure shoppers and keep them moving. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
