Frequently asked questions about cubix.dot

Can I use .PAY for redirects to my existing checkout for crypto payments?

Yes, you can use a .PAY domain as a clean branded entry point or redirect to an existing checkout, but implement redirects, SSL and tracking carefully. First secure or pre-order the label through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

What makes cubix.dot memorable compared to a long URL?

cubix.dot is short, ends in a meaningful word, and ties directly to the brand cubix.dot. People remember cubix.dot more easily than a long string of folders and query parameters. That memorability matters when a customer types the address from a receipt or a card.

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for BNPL checkout?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Will NicNames store my SMD file after registering cubix.dot?

NicNames uses your SMD file to validate and process your priority claim on cubix.dot during registration. The SMD itself is tied to your TMCH record, which the Clearinghouse maintains independently. Handle your SMD securely since it represents your validated rights to cubix.dot. Begin registration at https://domain.pay/register.

For BNPL checkout, what .PAY domain style is best for trust and conversion?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
