Frequently asked questions about cryptopia.dot

How can a marketplace use a .PAY domain when choosing merchant.pay?

A marketplace can use .PAY for seller payouts, buyer checkout, escrow, billing or payment support flows. Generate and verify names through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Choose a label that customers will recognize as official and safe.

Does cryptopia.dot work for a deposit on custom orders?

Makers taking custom orders can request a deposit on cryptopia.dot, giving buyers a clear address to commit. The .PAY name reassures customers paying upfront for bespoke work. Reserve it at https://domain.pay/register.

For BNPL checkout, is a payment gateway business eligible for .PAY in the LRP?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Will cryptopia.dot cost the same next week?

Not necessarily — if cryptopia.dot is premium, the registry can adjust its wholesale price, and a standard label could be reclassified, so the figure may differ later. Pricing is set by Amazon Registry Services. Re-check cryptopia.dot's current quote at https://domain.pay/pricing.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available when choosing merchant.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
