Frequently asked questions about courriel.dot

Do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1 for digital wallets?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

Will courriel.dot look professional on a business card?

A short address like courriel.dot looks clean and purposeful on a business card, invoice, or storefront sign. The .PAY suffix tells anyone reading it that this is where to pay. Compared with a long .com checkout link, courriel.dot prints far more neatly.

Can I transfer a .PAY LRP domain to someone else when choosing loans.pay?

A .PAY name registered during an LRP may be transferred only to a new registrant that fulfills the same LRP eligibility criteria. For registration or pre-order assistance, start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Do not buy or sell LRP names without confirming eligibility.

Which trademark holders get priority for courriel.dot?

Holders of a registered trademark matching courriel.dot get priority for courriel.dot during the trademark-priority phase. You prove the right with a TMCH SMD file issued by the Trademark Clearinghouse. domain.pay supports this priority path for courriel.dot at /register.

How do I know if subscriptions.pay is available when choosing subscriptions.pay?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
