Frequently asked questions about coolish.dot

As a fintech founder, can a trademark owner register a matching .PAY domain now?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

What is a registrar lock and should coolish.dot have one?

A registrar (transfer) lock prevents coolish.dot from being moved without your explicit approval, guarding against hijacking. Keep coolish.dot locked except during a deliberate transfer. You can toggle the lock for coolish.dot in your account's domain settings.

Are IDN .PAY domains allowed?

IDN .PAY names may be possible only in supported scripts and must meet registry rules. Use domain.pay to check the exact label and punycode-style status before planning a launch: https://domain.pay/register. Availability, premium and policy restrictions still apply.

What does trademark priority mean for getting coolish.dot?

Trademark priority means owners of TMCH-validated marks can register coolish.dot during sunrise, before the general public, reducing the risk of losing coolish.dot to others. domain.pay provides this priority service. Learn more at https://domain.pay/register.

How do I know if cloud.pay is available for payroll disbursements?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
