Frequently asked questions about connectgroup.dot

Who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period for mobile money?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

Will connectgroup.dot be available immediately when .PAY launches?

When the relevant phase opens, connectgroup.dot becomes registrable, but availability for any one buyer depends on competing requests. A pre-order ensures domain.pay submits connectgroup.dot at that immediate opening rather than after the rush. Stage it at https://domain.pay/register.

Why might a .PAY pre-order fail even after I pay for an event ticketing business?

A .PAY pre-order can fail if the name is registered earlier, classified as premium, reserved, blocked, refused by registry policy or lost to another faster submission. Search and order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains, and review its credit/cash-refund options.

Can connectgroup.dot be both premium and available?

Yes — a premium connectgroup.dot is available to register but at the registry's special wholesale price rather than the standard fee. Premium is a pricing tier, not a block, so connectgroup.dot can be both premium and registrable. The live quote for connectgroup.dot appears at https://domain.pay/domains.

How should I check premium status before choosing a .PAY name for mobile money?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
