Frequently asked questions about cmx.dot

Where can I see already-registered .PAY domains for a travel booking brand?

Use domain.pay to search the live label and review already-registered .PAY examples: https://domain.pay/domains. If your first choice is already registered or not available, domain.pay can help you browse alternatives or pre-order a different name.

Why does trademark-priority registration of cmx.dot require a TMCH record first?

The .PAY registry, operated by Amazon Registry Services, only grants priority to marks already validated in the Trademark Clearinghouse. Your TMCH record produces the SMD file that proves rights to the cmx.dot string in cmx.dot. Without that prior validation, NicNames has no recognised proof to grant you priority. Begin the flow at https://domain.pay/register.

For BNPL checkout, how do I register loans.pay if it matches my trademark?

Trademark owners can register matching .PAY names during the priority/Sunrise path if they meet TMCH/SMD and identical-match rules. Start at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. If you are not a trademark holder, use the pre-order path for broader access instead.

Does using cmx.dot hurt my Google rankings?

No. Google has stated that new top-level domains carry no inherent ranking advantage or disadvantage, so cmx.dot competes on the same signals as any .com. Focus your SEO effort for cmx.dot on content, page speed, and backlinks rather than the extension itself.

How do I know if merchant.pay is available for mobile money?

Search the exact .PAY label at domain.pay to see current availability and premium status: https://domain.pay/domains. Availability can change quickly during launch phases, so verify before publishing names, ads or product screens.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
