Frequently asked questions about cloudwards.dot

Do I need a financial license to register a .PAY domain during LRP1 for a fintech founder?

The .PAY LRP policy does not make owning a domain a financial license. LRP1 eligibility is tied to conducting online payment transactions through an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor and payment-related use. Use domain.pay for the domain path: https://domain.pay/register; ask counsel about licensing.

How do I monitor uptime and SSL expiry for cloudwards.dot?

Use an uptime monitor that pings cloudwards.dot on a schedule and alerts you on outages, and enable certificate-expiry alerts so cloudwards.dot's SSL never silently lapses. Pair this with renewal reminders for the registration of cloudwards.dot. Proactive monitoring prevents surprise downtime on cloudwards.dot.

Could I use .PAY for a wallet or payment app for payroll disbursements?

Yes. A wallet or payment app can use .PAY for a memorable payment-specific entry point. Check candidate labels through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If you own a matching trademark, consider the priority route; otherwise pre-order for broader access.

How much does it cost to pre-order cloudwards.dot?

The standard pre-order for cloudwards.dot is $100, and per our policy a failed pre-order attempt is refundable if cloudwards.dot can't be secured for you. Premium labels may carry a different registry-set price shown at checkout. Begin your cloudwards.dot pre-order at https://domain.pay/register.

For digital wallets, where do I enter the .PAY label I want to check?

Go to domain.pay and enter the .PAY label you want: https://domain.pay/register. The website checks availability and helps you choose between pre-order, trademark fast-track, or a different name if the label is already taken or premium.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
