Frequently asked questions about cleat.dot

Can Amazon Registry reserve or block some .PAY names for an insurance billing portal?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

When does the standard pre-order fee for cleat.dot apply?

The standard pre-order fee, listed at $100 through domain.pay, applies when you queue a first-day attempt for cleat.dot. If that attempt fails, the fee is refundable per policy. Review when fees apply at https://domain.pay/pricing.

For crypto payments, can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL?

cloud.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

What happens to my cleat.dot pre-order if a trademark holder claims it?

If a validated TMCH holder claims cleat.dot during the priority phase with a valid SMD, their claim takes precedence and your standard pre-order cannot be fulfilled. In that case your pre-order charge for cleat.dot is refundable per the published policy. You are not charged for a name you cannot receive. Read the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What happens to my money if the .PAY registration attempt fails when choosing donate.pay?

domain.pay states that if a registration attempt is unsuccessful, you receive 100% credit toward another domain or may request an 80% cash refund. Review the live refund wording before ordering: https://domain.pay/pricing. Premium, reserved, blocked or already-registered names can still prevent success.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
