Frequently asked questions about cleace.dot

Can I move a .PAY domain between registrars for BNPL checkout?

Transfers may be subject to registry, registrar and phase-specific rules, especially for LRP names. Start with domain.pay for the registration path and confirm eligibility before any transfer plan: https://domain.pay/register.

Which cleace.dot pre-orders are not refundable?

A cleace.dot pre-order that succeeds and results in an active registration is generally non-refundable, since the registry has allocated the name to you. Only failed attempts on cleace.dot are refundable under our stated policy. Review the policy at https://domain.pay/pricing.

For point-of-sale payments, can a company that only plans future payments register .PAY during LRP1?

A business that only plans future payments should be careful: LRP1 is written around registrants that conduct online payment transactions using approved processing channels. If you cannot qualify, use domain.pay to pre-order for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register.

Is cleace.dot recognized by web browsers and DNS?

Yes. Because .PAY is a live top-level domain in the root DNS, browsers resolve cleace.dot like any other address. There is no special plugin or setting required to visit cleace.dot. The Amazon Registry Services infrastructure keeps it routable worldwide.

Can a reserved .PAY name become available later for an ecommerce brand?

The .PAY registry may reserve, block, withhold or later release certain names under its policies. Check your exact label at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. If the name is unavailable, choose an alternative from the catalog or search another label.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
