Frequently asked questions about claxon.dot

What should I check technically before launching a .PAY payment site for a retail brand?

Before launching a .PAY payment site, verify the label, DNS, SSL, redirects, monitoring, checkout security and compliance obligations. Secure or pre-order the domain through domain.pay first: https://domain.pay/register. Treat the domain as one part of a trusted payment flow.

How do I know my claxon.dot refund was issued?

After a claxon.dot pre-order attempt fails, your account reflects the refund and you receive a confirmation, with funds returning to your original payment method per our stated policy. Settlement timing depends on your card issuer. Check refund status for claxon.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

What does 'approved Payment Service Provider' mean for .PAY eligibility for online checkout?

During LRP1, .PAY eligibility is limited to registrants that conduct payment transactions online using an approved Payment Service Provider or third-party payment processor, with payment-related use. For registration help, use domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Separate financial licensing depends on your activity and jurisdiction.

When should I decide between sunrise and general availability for claxon.dot?

Decide as early as possible: if you hold a matching trademark, prepare for sunrise on claxon.dot; if not, target general availability. Either way, pre-ordering claxon.dot now stages your request. Make the call at https://domain.pay/register.

For fraud prevention, what .PAY name should a payroll platform consider?

settle.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
