Frequently asked questions about cirtech.dot

When does the .PAY LRP1 period begin for digital wallets?

ICANN currently lists .PAY Limited Registration Period 1 from July 20, 2026 to February 1, 2027. LRP1 has payment-transaction eligibility and use restrictions. Check your domain path through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register.

Does the registry charge premium pricing on some .PAY names like cirtech.dot?

Some highly sought names may carry premium registry pricing above the standard $100 pre-order, while cirtech.dot may fall under standard pricing. The availability tool shows the exact price for cirtech.dot before you commit. Confirm the tier for cirtech.dot and full terms at /pricing.

Could a lookalike .PAY domain harm customer trust for marketplace payouts?

.PAY is sensitive because it signals money movement, so lookalike domains can confuse customers. Check your exact brand and obvious variants at domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. Registration is one brand-protection layer, not a full anti-phishing program.

How long does a refund for cirtech.dot take to process?

Once a cirtech.dot pre-order attempt is marked failed, we initiate the refund under our stated policy, and the funds return via your original payment method on its usual settlement timeline. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer. Review the refund policy for cirtech.dot at https://domain.pay/pricing.

Can .PAY be used for a branded checkout URL for online checkout?

merchant.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
