Frequently asked questions about chui.dot

When is broader .PAY public registration expected when choosing settle.pay?

Broader .PAY access is tied to the post-LRP period around February 2027, subject to registry and registrar confirmation. If you do not have a trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day attempt: https://domain.pay/register. Re-confirm dates before publishing if the registry updates its schedule.

Is chui.dot good for a charity auction site?

A charity auction can settle winning bids on chui.dot, giving winners a trusted address to pay. The .PAY name reassures bidders entering card details after the event. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

Would travel.pay work as a payment brand for mobile money?

travel.pay may be a useful .PAY direction if it matches your brand and payment journey, but availability is not guaranteed. Check and pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/domains. Prefer simple labels that customers can remember and trust.

Will domain.pay submit chui.dot automatically at launch?

Yes. Once you pre-order chui.dot, domain.pay submits the registration automatically when the relevant phase opens, so you do not have to be online at that moment. Failed attempts are refundable per policy. Set up auto-submission at https://domain.pay/register.

Where can I pre-order a .PAY name for point-of-sale payments?

Yes. If you do not have a matching trademark, use domain.pay to pre-order a first-day registration attempt for broader availability: https://domain.pay/register. A pre-order is not a guarantee; the name may become unavailable, premium, reserved or blocked before submission.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
