Frequently asked questions about choosedigital.dot

As an ecommerce brand, who qualifies for a .PAY domain in the Limited Registration Period?

An ecommerce or gateway business using a payment processor may be closer to the LRP1 eligibility concept, but the registry rules still control. Start at domain.pay to choose the correct path and verify current requirements: https://domain.pay/register. Separate licensing issues remain legal questions.

Is choosedigital.dot suitable for a digital wallet product?

It is a natural fit: a wallet is about holding and moving money, and choosedigital.dot states that purpose in the address bar. Hosting your wallet onboarding on a .PAY name keeps the experience consistent from ad to sign-up to top-up. Learn more and reserve at https://domain.pay/register.

What is a .PAY domain and why does it matter for digital wallets for a donation platform?

.PAY is a payment-focused top-level domain operated by Amazon Registry Services. For digital wallets, it can make the payment purpose of a URL clearer than a generic address. Check or pre-order through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/. domain.pay handles the customer path for trademark-priority registration or first-day pre-order attempts.

Should a game studio use choosedigital.dot for store purchases?

A game studio can host its web store on choosedigital.dot so players buy currency and items on a recognizable payment address. The .PAY ending reassures buyers leaving the game client to pay. Start at https://domain.pay/register.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium when choosing settle.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
