Frequently asked questions about chivalry.dot

Can I use nameservers and DNS like other domains with .PAY for an insurance billing portal?

After registration, plan DNS, SSL, redirects, security monitoring and payment-page controls as you would for a production domain. Start by securing the .PAY name through domain.pay: https://domain.pay/register. A domain alone does not make a checkout secure.

How do I set up a 404 and proper status codes on chivalry.dot?

Configure chivalry.dot to return a real 404 for missing pages and 200 for live ones, never a 'soft 404' that returns 200 on an error page. Correct status codes help crawlers index chivalry.dot accurately. Use a helpful 404 page on chivalry.dot with links back to key sections.

What does it mean if a .PAY name is premium when choosing travel.pay?

A premium .PAY name is a label with an additional registry retail fee set by Amazon Registry Services. Search the exact label at domain.pay to see current premium status and price path: https://domain.pay/domains. Premium status can change the total cost.

Can multiple businesses share a name pattern but not chivalry.dot itself?

Each .PAY name is unique, so only one party can hold chivalry.dot at a time, though others may register different chivalry.dot variants. Once you secure chivalry.dot, that exact address is yours alone. Stake your claim to chivalry.dot at /register.

Where can I see the exact .PAY premium price for bank.pay?

Premium .PAY names can carry additional registry retail fees set by Amazon Registry Services. domain.pay says premium retail can vary by tier, so check the exact label before paying: https://domain.pay/pricing. The pre-order or fast-track fee does not make a premium name standard-priced.

Availability is checked live and re-verified before payment. Pre-orders are first-day registration attempts — registration is not guaranteed; 100% credit toward another domain (or 80% cash refund) if unsuccessful.
